Doug Makishima to discuss launch of YTL’s Eclipse smartphone

Makishima’s second presentation, “VoLTE Device Integration and Optimization Considerations,” will occur on Friday, October 12 at 2:30 p.m.  During this talk, participants will hear a debate of the pros and cons of VoLTE engines running on app processors or on LTE modems.  He will also touch on the impact of adding VoLTE to Android or other mobile operating systems and how to solve the IMS dual-registration issue when running RCS on the same device.
