NewStep and D2 Technologies Partner to Showcase Evolution of Personalized Communications Convergence

Joint solution enables integrated fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) functionality on a variety of multi-mode devices including the Google Android platform
 

LAS VEGAS, NV April 1, 2008 — CTIA Wireless —  NewStep Networks Inc., a market and technology leader in communications convergence, and D2 Technologies, a market leader in embedded software platforms that power IP communications, are combining forces to deliver a joint solution that includes Google Android-based mobile terminals, running D2’s mCUE™ embedded mobile unified communications software interoperating with NewStep’s patented converged services node for FMC/UC infrastructure.
